On December 23, 2024, a joint seminar was held on the topic of "2025 South Korea Inbound Tourism Forecast" by Yanolja Research, Purdue University’s CHRIBA, and Kyung Hee University’s Center for H&T Analytics.
The event, which took place on the 9th floor of the Seoul Global Center’s International Conference Hall, featured the presentation of the 2025 inbound tourism demand forecast based on Yanolja Research’s self-developed demand prediction model, followed by an active discussion on strategies to respond to the forecasted demand.
The event began with opening remarks by SooCheong Jang, Director of Yanolja Research and Professor at Purdue University, and a welcome speech by Bochan Bae, CEO of Yanolja Platform.
The seminar was structured around two main presentations: Topic 1 “2025 South Korea Inbound Tourism Demand Forecast” and Topic 2 “Strategies for Inbound Tourism,” followed by a panel discussion.
The session was moderated by Hyowon Yoon, Senior Researcher at Yanolja Research.
Topic 1, "2025 South Korea Inbound Tourism Demand Forecast," was presented by Sukwon Hong, Principal Researcher at Yanolja Research, and Deacheol Seo, Senior Researcher at Yanolja Research. This was followed by Topic 2, "Strategies for Inbound Tourism," presented by Kyuwan Choi, Professor at Kyung Hee University’s College of Hotel and Tourism and Director of the Kyung Hee University H&T Analytics Center.
