In this Yanolja Research Brief, we've explored Japan's data collection and management system, which has demonstrated substantial growth in inbound tourism. By reviewing and comparing inbound tourism data systems between Japan and South Korea in terms of diversity, adequacy, timeliness, and utility, we aim to uncover differences and propose areas for enhancement in South Korea's data system.
